HOLIDAY ULTIMATE TOURNAMENTS
Elder's 3rd Annual 4v4 Holiday Hat Tournament
Come kick off the holiday season with a fun, fast-paced mixed tournament. Request to play with up to (3) of your friends and we’ll do our best to accommodate you. Snacks are provided after the games finish. Spots are limited, so register now to secure yours.

Welcome to the 2024 Holiday 4x4 Hat Tournament brought to you by OCUA and uOttawa Gee-Gees Women's Ultimate Team. Grab some friends and come out to enjoy a mixed tournament over the Winter Holidays. Players can submit friend requests and we will do our best to honour them while maintaining a balanced tournament.

HOLIDAY 'FREE' ULTIMATE GAME
January 8th FREE Adult League Hat Night
OCUA has acquired some additional, unexpected field time on Wednesday, January 8th at Carleton University. As a welcome to 2025, we would like to run a FREE adult league hat night with the goal of introducing players to other members within the organization. You often play against each other, but now is your chance to meet one another and further strengthen our community roots. Field space is available from 6-11pm and game times will be determined based on response. Players will be assigned a game time and a team. OCUA will do our best to put some players from each program/team together for familiarity. Gender Ratio will be determined based on registration, but will not exceed 3:2.

Wednesday, January 8th, 6:00-11:00pm at Carleton. Registration open!
Registration is due by December 28th. Depending on numbers, OCUA may run a youth program in the 6pm & 7pm time slots.

HOLIDAY DISC DRIVE
OCUA is collecting any spare discs!
OCUA will be at the Carleton Field House on Wednesday, January 8th from 6pm-8pm to collect any unwanted discs you have laying around the house! These discs will be added to our youth programs inventory and allow us to re-use discs already in the community.
DEBRIEF: ULTIMATE CANADA CONFERENCE 
OCUA staff participated in an annual national conference with dozens of Ultimate organizations nationwide. Always a valuable few days of meetings, we again came away with some great ideas we look forward to implementing for OCUA, including the following areas: Improved Social Media Presence, 5v5 cross-field option (summer), Increased EDI Initiatives, Improved Rules Knowledge, ABBA pattern cards, and much more!

Wednesday GN2 Program (Ages 7-17)

  • Designed for Girls, Non-Binary, or Two Spirited players
  • Will include skill development and game play
  • Field Location: Carleton University
  • Time Slots: 6:00-7:30 pm
  • First Night: November 13th
  • Last Night: April 2nd
  • Date Exemptions: Dec 4,11,18,25, Jan 1, 8
  • Number of Weeks: 15
  • Individual Fee: $300

Wednesday Recreational Program (Ages 7-13)

  • Will include skill development and game play
  • Field Location: Ben Franklin
  • Time Slots: 6:00-7:00 pm
  • First Night: November 6th
  • Last Night: April 30th

  • Number of Weeks: 25

Sunday Advanced Junior 5v5 SOTF (2011-2006)

  • Designed for players who played competitively during the 2024 season or were part of the Summer Development program.
  • Field Location: Orleans Dome
  • Time Slots: 1.5 hour time slot between 5-9pm. Still TBD. 
  • First Night: November 3rd
  • Last Night: December 29
  • Date Exemptions: Nov 24
  • Number of Weeks: 8
  • Individual Fee $200 (+HST for Ages 16-17)

Sunday Intermediate & Advanced Program in partnership with OJCUP

  • Designed for players who played competitively during the 2024 season or were part of the Summer Development program. Players who wish to play competitively in summer 2025 are welcome to apply.
  • Registration will include an application. Players will be accepted into either the Intermediate or Advanced Level. All players not accepted, will have the option for a full refund or credit on their OCUA account. 
  • Field Location: Orleans Dome
  • Time Slots: 5:00-7:00 pm or 7:00 - 9:00 pm
  • First Night: January 5th
  • Last Night: March 16th 
  • Date Exemptions: March 2
  • Number of Weeks: 10
  • Individual Fee: $325 (+HST for Ages 16-17)
