Two weeks ago we had 25 people come out to learn about catching, cutting, and making space for cuts. Later on that afternoon, we put those newly acquired skills to the test in a tightly fought scrimmage, which the dark team won. We ended the afternoon by heading over to the Great Canadian Cabin for a late lunch, beverages, and to talk about the battle that took place earlier that day. This week we will learn about bail cuts and hucking. Anyone interested only in pickup ultimate can show up at 2:30 pm. Thanks, Fadi e: g060705@med.uottawa.ca ************************************************************ REGULAR RULE: Hi All! This week's rule is about Endzones... Thanks Sylvie! X END ZONES: 1. If a team gains possession of the disc in the end zone which it is defending: A) The player taking possession of the disc MUST make the immediate decision to either; i) Put the disc into play from that spot, or ii) carry the disc to the closest point on the goal line and put it into play from there. B) To fake or pause after gaining possession commits the player to put the disc into play at that point.
