Format: 4 on 4, minimum 3-1 co-ed Fees : $140 per team, includes dinner on Saturday night. - Games to 17 - 55-minute hard cap - Each team guaranteed 5 games Billeting with local players will be available For information & registration, contact Dominic Levesque e: ultimate_qc@hotmail.com ************************************************************ OCUA BOARD NEWS (AND VOLUNTEERS NEEDED): 1) JoAnne McFee has resigned her position on the OCUA board of directors. She will be spending more time looking after her new baby. I thank JoAnne for all her work in the past. 2) We asked Steve Seabrook if he would fill the vacant position on the board. Steve has been working as the league secretary and at the same time was the top runner up in the election last fall. Steve has agreed to take on this new role. 3) Now that Steve has changed positions we need a new secretary to help us out at our board meetings. If anyone is interested please let me know. Some of the responsibilities for this position are: - To attend and take minutes for our twice monthly meetings. - Prepare meeting agenda - Send out meeting reminders 4) Nick Roberts has resigned his position as OCUA's field manager. He will continue to do all of the other things he normally does but he does not have the time this year to work as the field manager. Thanks Nick for the past work on this and in everything else you do. 5) Now we need to fill the field manager position. If anyone is interested please let me know. Responsibilities for this position are varied but include: - Acting as OCUA's contact for all of the fields we use - Distribute fields to each division for their use in the spring/summer season - Decide if games must be cancelled due to weather conditions resulting in damage to a field or fields. ************************************************************ ULTIMATE FOLK AT WINTERLUDE: Just to let you know, in case you hadn't already heard through the grapevine that the boys and I are working on a Winterlude Snow Sculpture this week, and are in need of some support... We'll be out tonight and over the next few days from 6:30pm to 10pm. Come on by Dows Lake and look for lot #13 and a Chinese Dragon, and bring something to warm us up!! (alcoholic or otherwise) The judging will be on the weekend, so come by Saturday or Sunday to see how we did!
