DOUBLE DISC COURT TOURNAMENT MAY 28TH 10AM:

Sod Farm

Cost:
$20 per team of 2

All money raised will be going to Canadian Cancer Research
Projects.

There are still a few spots remaining for this tournament. A
crash course on the game will be given for people who want to
play, but don't know the game. It's an easy game where you
don't want your team to be caught holding both discs!

DEVELOPMENTAL CLINICS:

If you weren't there for the first one you don't want to skip
this one or you'll miss Geoff and Colin sacrificing their bodies
going after the disc, Steve taking my teeth out with his disc
fakes, Natalie catching everything in sight, and all of the
Dons. To find out who these crazy characters are and to learn
a bit about ultimate show up this Sunday, May 28th at 6pm at
the Riverside fields. These clinics are open to everyone, so
ladies if you aren't too tired from running around at the Stella
clinic we can give you three more hours of ultimate.

STELLA'S WOMEN'S SKILLS CLINIC:

Ever want to learn how to throw that sweet inside-out flick,
make an unstoppable cut, play shut-down defence, or learn to
lay-out?! How about just a clarification of what is a stack,
a mark or a force...... Well, then come out to Stella's Ultimate
Women's Clinic.

Back by popular demand, Stella, one of Ottawa's travelling
women's Ultimate team, will be holding their Annual Women's
Skills Clinic on Friday May 26th and Sunday May 28th at Lynda
Lane.

Beginners:
Friday May 26 (6:30 - 8:30 pm)

Intermediate:
Sunday May 28 (3:00 - 5:00 pm)

Location:
Lynda Lane (if field conditions are ok)

Friday night is geared towards first year players. We will be
going over throwing techniques, different ways of cutting, how
to mark your defender, analysis of man-to-man/zone, and
techniques on how to lay out without injury!

Sunday afternoon is for those intermediate players who want to
improve their game by learning new types of throws (inside outs,
outside in's, high back hand releases, hammers, scubbers, you
name it!), different cutting techniques (boulders, L cuts, T
cuts, big city... plus many more), new offence strategies,
tips on smart defence, and overall improving you and your teams
awareness on the field.

All you need to bring is your cleats, a white and dark shirt,
and a friend!

All levels of teams are invited to spend a day on the beach
playing Ultimate.

Experienced and Recreational divisions

5 on 5 on the Sand! (co-ed / max 3 same sex)

REGISTRATION UPDATE:

Remember the deadline for individual player registration is
Monday May 29th. If 12 players have been registered for a
team by that time we will consider it registered.

If a team is registered on time we will destroy your $25
roster deposit cheque and let you know it has been destroyed.
Otherwise we will cash your cheque.

If your team does not have 12 players (or there are extenuating
circumstances) please let me know.

For your reference I have listed below the list of teams per
night and the number of people registered (in square brackets)
for that team as of 11 pm May 24th.

You can determine who on your team has registered if you click
on the bottom link ("here") on the registration forms main page.
