NOTES:

Lightning Rule:

Games can be postponed only with the agreement of both teams
concerned Or if dangerous conditions (ie: lightning) exist.
Teams are absolutely expected to postpone the game if lightning
is present or imminent (although teams should wait a period
of time (ie. half an hour) to see if the conditions will blow
over). Rain and cold weather are not valid reasons for postponing
games.

To make a lengthy request short, everyone please report your
scores after a game. If you already do great. Please encourage
others to do the same!

CANADA DAY EVE CAMP OUT:

Its that time again for the great camp out at Southpark (Manotick
Station) on June 30th. This year it is a Friday so there is
no excuse not to come out for the fun and stay for the freaks...
Dress up or dress down to celebrate Canada's birthday and you
can see the internationally known band ' MEL NINO' . As usual
there will be a bonfire, fireworks and other assorted shows of
brilliance. Please help out with the fireworks by buying some
from the corner store in Manotick Station before 9 or so....

Please pass this invitation on to your teams, your captains
and all your friends. As always, admission is free so i hope
to see everyone out for the third year of a great outdoor
event....

- Women's finals (Ottawa's Stella vs Toronto's Urge)

This was on last Sunday. Filmed very will with intelligent
comments.

CAN YOU PUT SOME PEOPLE UP FOR NO BORDERS?:

Some swell Short Fat Guys are coming all the way from the Big
Apple to attend No Borders on the July 15-16 weekend and are
looking for a house/cottage to rent so they can stay together
as a team (includes about 3 infants).

2nd ANNUAL WOMEN'S HAT TOURNAMENT FOR BREAST CANCER RESEARCH:

Here is an opportunity to play WITH some of the women you have
been playing against all this time. (No men in drag please)

Remember how much fun this was last year? All the more reason
to sign up with a friend this year!

Saturday, July 22nd, we will be holding our second annual
WOMEN'S HAT TOURNAMENT at the Sod Farm in Manotick. We will
be limiting teams to 10-12 players each and will be trying our
best to keep them balanced with an equal skill level, dividing
up the cheer writers, rule czarinas and spirit queens amongst
the teams.

We ask that you make your interest known by July 10th to give
us enough time to organize the event properly.

RULE OF THE WEEK BY SYLVIE D'AOUST:

VII. SUBSTITUTIONS

1. Substitutions can be made only:
a. After a goal and before the ensuing accepted throw-off.
b. Before the beginning of a period of play.
c. To replace an injured player(s).

2. If a team replaces an injured player(s), the opposing team
has the option of substituting the same number of players.

3. Substitutions other than injury substitutions cannot be
made during a time-out taken during the game.
