SPRING CAPTAINS MEETING

Tuesday, April 3
7:00pm
Lisgar Collegiate (located behind the Elgin St. court 
building)

7pm - meeting your divisional coordinators
8pm - annual OCUA AGM

All teams are expected to send a representative to the Spring 
Captains Meeting.

DIVISIONAL COORDINATORS NEEDED

The league is looking for a few good volunteers to help out 
as divisional coordinators for the 2001 summer season.  If 
you are interested please contact Steve Seabrook at 
sseabrook@sympatico.ca

Duties and responsibilities:
- create 2 seven week schedules for your tiers
- primary point of communication between the league and the 
  captains
- resolve disputes between teams
- e-mail access is essential

Time: 11pm-12:30am
Cost: $5/night

Bring your cleats or running shoes and a dark and light 
shirt! We have all 3 fields rented so there lots of Ultimate 
to be played. Come check out the new Field Turf at the 
Colloseum.

OCUA WOMEN'S LEAGUE - THU. NIGHT: RETRACTION/CLARIFICATION

Someone carefully brought to my attention (thanks, Cathy 
Green) that I may have been a little over-zealous in my pitch 
for the THURSDAY NIGHT OCUA WOMEN'S LEAGUE. To re-cap, send 
an email to : Manon des Groseilliers (mdesg@cyberus.ca). Tell 
her you want to play in the 2001 summer women's league. And 
pass the word on to your friends. Even better, get a group of 
friends together and ENTER as a TEAM. Now that's fun! I am 
always interested in your feedback and comments. SO in the 
spirit of providing equal time...let's hear what others have 
to say - more actual player testimony:

"It's 6:55 - where the #$(*#@*^! is everybody??" 
"Move your sorry *ss, you lazy wench" or, the more polite "Get 
 in there, cup!" 
"That b*tch just elbowed me in the eye." 
"Hey you two, stay out of the beer until the game is over!"
