I invite you and your family to join my family and friends this Sunday September 16, 2001 as we spend an hour walking to express our hope for a peaceful future. This week has been a turbulent one and we would like to take some time this Sunday to reflect on what has happened. We plan to walk from the corner of Elgin and Lisgar to the Peace Tower on Parliament Hill. We hope to gather in front of the freedom monument (at the corner of Elgin and Lisgar) shortly before 9 a.m. We will walk up Elgin, continue past the War Memorial, turn left on Wellington and finish at the Peace Tower on Parliament Hill. We look forward to seeing you there. Please feel free to pass along the message to others who may wish to join us.
