Sarvis Newsgroups: rec.sport.disc Subject: FOOLS FEST NEWS: PEE BEATS FIRE; OTHER GAMES PLAYED In a stunning rochambeau move, Dr Mike Jones of MIT Reunion threw pee to douse fire, thrown by "Aaron" Goofy Craig of Yale Reunion, winning shirt color choice for the MIT squad. To add insult to injury, MIT then chose white, allowing Yale to wear the dark shirts they had originally wanted. It has not yet been confirmed that this is the first time in recorded history that both pee and fire have been thrown at the same time. The throw was mired in controversy. Craig, upon throwing fire, started celebrating wildly without checking his opponent's throw. Jones kept his throw visible, obviously confused by Craig's curious behaviour. Some Yale players, though, saw what had happened, and fell to the ground in shock. Yale's Josh Cott was not one of them: "I thought he threw scissors and changed it to pee." But Jones's unimpeachable integrity, along with a signed affidavit from an unnamed Yale player supporting Jones's position, won the day. Yale was forced to concede the rochambeau. In other news, many games of ultimate were played under somewhat adverse conditions. ************************************************************ ------------------------------------------------ Ultimate doesn't build character.
