LATE REGISTRATION:

 Late registration will be held Sunday, May 10th at 83
Waverly Ave from 1:00pm to 3:00 pm. Teams must supply the
computer file "roster.dat" from the league's registration
software as well as provide a cheque for $525 made out to
"Ottawa-Carleton Ultimate Association".

SITE CLEANUP:

 FREE BEER AND PIZZA for members who volunteer for the site
cleanup to be held on the NEW land this Saturday at 10:00
am. Bring work gloves, pruners, hand saws, buckets, wheel
barrows. We are also looking for anyone who could volunteer
a pick-up truck so we can more easily move stuff from place-
to-place on the site.

SPONSORS:

Our regular sponsor, Monroe & Friends, has expanded it's
sponsorship to the league, and is sponsoring 4 teams on
Monday night and 4 on Wednesday. Monday night is full, but
there are 3 spots available for Wednesday. They have a great
patio, pool table, darts, etc. and are going to offer
specials on team nights.

As well, they are going to sponsor a hat tourney at the
sometime before or at the end of the season with all 8 teams
they have sponsored, have food & drink in a party-like
atmosphere after, etc.

IF THE FIELDS ARE IN ROUGH SHAPE:

Please postpone or move your game if you feel the field
you are about to play on is in bad shape or could be ruined
by play. This happens at the beginning of the year when
fields are wet and cleats rip them up. For the rest of the
year there are divots and ankle breaking bumps left all over
the place.

If there is a problem with a field please call our field
manager Nick Roberts at 729-9227.

PLAYERS LOOKING FOR TEAMS & TEAMS LOOKING FOR PLAYERS:

 I think there is a trend here. Every day I get a request or
two from people looking for teams and teams looking for
players. As long as we keep getting both kinds of requests
it all works out fine.

 Just for your information you should know that I forward
all requests on to Rod Nicholls who is the league's new
player co-ordinator. He keeps a list of players who are
looking to play. Teams who need players should be aware
they can call him for help. He has a number of names on
his list now. His phone number is 594-3933 and his e-mail
is nicholls@uottawa.ca.
