P.R.O.U.F. OTTAWA INDOOR ULTIMATE LEAGUE:

Registration info

This info is for people who want to play Indoor Ultimate at
reasonable hours.

Wednesday night from 7 pm to 11 pm. Saturday afternoons
from Noon until 4 pm

Sat. Wed. or both.

The cost is $150. per player for the season
(prime time does have it's drawbacks...
 more expensive by the hour)

Open house on Wednesday Nov. 4th (7-11) and Saturday
Nov. 7th (noon - 4).

Season starts the following week.
Enter as an individual or as a group.

SOUTHPARK FALL CLEANUP:

Well, we're getting a few beautiful fall days here and there,
and there's still lots of work to do on the new site, so it's
time for another volunteer day:

WHERE: the new fields (Southpark, to those in the know) TIME: 10
am - whenever (depends how much time you have :) DATE: Saturday,
October 24

There are a number of different things we hope to work on. There
is still a lot of scrap metal strewn around and about, which we
need to gather up and pile. (Definitely bring work gloves if you
can, since we don't want anyone to get cut or anything.) There
is also a lot of scrap lumber and deadfall still around, and
some brush that could be cleared away. (So, if you are
proficient with axes, saws, chainsaws, etc., please bring them
along.) We will try to obtain a burning permit, and we can use
some of the stones that have been dug up during construction to
build a firepit, which will allow us to burn some of the stuff
as we go along. Marshmallows will be on me... :)

All in all, this is a great chance for you to volunteer some
time to help the project, enjoy a fall day, and take a look at
the improvements to the new site. Just make sure you don't go
out walking on the new grass - it's not ready for feet just yet.

LOST:

I lost a pair of Umbro Warm-up pants at the Laroche fields
the week before last, and I was wondering if anybody might
have picked them up. The pants are your basic black warm-up
pants and I left them on the picnic tables.

FOUND:

Found 1 black "Bruce and the Usuals - The Screaming Yellow
Zonkers" disc at Riverside on Sunday October 18. It was probably
left over from the 1:30 game since I played at 3 pm.

It was being used as a rock disc. If you would like to reclaim
this particular disc and can identify it, send me a line at
slevac@iname.com.
