There are seven "pools", designated "1" through "7". These pools consist of eight teams each, and have been grouped by experience. A round robin will be played to more accurately determine the positioning of the teams. If after a three game period, it is obvious that a team is not in the right group, then corrective action will be taken.

This league is governed by the credo 'SPIRIT RULES'. This means that all tied teams will be ranked using their spirit of the game rating. The spirit of the game rating is a ranking of the opposing team's style of play, level of friendliness, and overall positive comportment. It is based on your entire team's impression of that night's experience, and is valued from one to ten, whole numbers only. It is not to be used as an instrument of revenge in the case of the team you are playing enforcing the rules; e.g. assessing penalty points for a late start.

Please note that the the start time for games considered to be 'in city' is 6:30pm, and for games 'out of city' it is 6:45pm. This should allow everyone to start on time without the need to risk life and limb rushing to a game.

Also note that the object is to have fun, not just to win. Hence, tie scores are not only allowed, they are encouraged.

You can arrange anything between captains. E-mails have been provided to facilitate inter-team communication. If you wish to cancel or reschedule a game, by all means do so. Please keep me informed. If you wish to use an OCUA field for a practice or a rescheduled game, let me know.

Teams are also encouraged to help each other with the game, remember the 'NEW PLAYER' rule, and to socialize with each other.
