Tentative Tierings

League Format
All nights will follow the following format guidelines:
- Every pool will have 8 teams. Double round robin of 7 games each during the season. A standard season is 14 round robin games and up to 3 playoff games.
- Monday league runs May 12th till Aug 11th, no game Aug 4th, quarters on Aug 18th, semis & finals on Aug 23rd
- Tuesday league runs May 13th till Aug 12th, no game July 1st, quarters on Aug 19thth, semis & finals on Aug 24th
- Wednesday league runs May 14th till Aug 6th, quarters on Aug 13th, semis & finals on Aug 17th
- Thursday league runs May 15th till Aug 7th, quarters on Aug 14th, semis & finals on Aug 16th
- Friday league runs May 16 till Aug 8th, quarters on Aug 15th, semis & finals on Aug 17th
- All divisions have a double header the week of June 9th or June 16th
- After the first round of 7 games, the top 2 teams move up a tier and the bottom 2 teams drop based on team standings
- Playoff quarter final games should be scheduled in the online system as soon as possible once the regular season ends.
- OCUA guarantees 12 RR games per team and plus playoff games. If bad weather or field conditions prevent at least a 12 game schedule, games will be rescheduled. OCUA does not guarantee to reschedule games unless a division drops below 12 games.
- Initial playoff seedings will be based on the second round of round robin games.
- Each tier of 8 teams will have a championship playoff round. #1 vs. #8, #2 vs. #7 etc. (no teams move after 2nd round.)
- Standings/Ties are determined/broken as follows -> Number of wins & ties -> Head to Head (2 teams) -> SOTG -> Number of wins amongst tied teams (3+ teams) -> +/- amongst the tied teams
