Thank You OCUA!
It was my pleasure getting to know the Ultimate community and the sport you all enjoy so much. I enjoyed my time working directly with the Youth and Junior leagues and watching the sport touch a new generation of players.
My biggest reward came from seeing the fruits of my labour on the fields around Ottawa. Whether it was as the Youth and Junior league coordinator; the Tournament Director for Back-To-Ultimate, High School Cup, No Borders and OCUA Playoffs or as a player at Lynda Lane.
I would like to thank all of the endless volunteers, coaches and ‘mumagers’ that I worked with during my time at OCUA. Without you the leagues and tournaments would not be possible!
I leave OCUA to take a step closer to achieving my goal of one day working for the organizing committee of either the Olympics or Paralympics. My next stop will be working for the Coaching Association of Canada. And although I will no longer work in the OCUA office I will remain a part of the Ultimate community as a player and volunteer.
If you see me around don’t be afraid to say hi!
