Organized "Pick-up"

So this isn't exactly a pick-up game, but all are welcome to come out to the coed hat tournament on Sunday, June 12th. If you can't make it for the full day, come for 1/2 or just a timeslot to pick-up.

The planned timeslots are:

9:00-10:00 - General warm-up and drills, dividing people into teams
10:00-11:30 - Game #1
11:45- 1:15 - Game #2
1:30- 3:00 - Game #3
3:15- 4:45 - Game #4

So I'm guessing that the response has been less than stellar for this event then.

On an off note, those are long games (1.5 hours each) for a tourney are they not?

1.5 hours is the usual cap for a tournament. Just not CHEO where they only give you 40 minutes.

Damn Derek,

That is painful, you could be playing 6 hours straight if it's a windy day.

Make sure you bring lots of water kids, it's gonna be a hot one.

That's why touring teams have upwards of 21 people on their roster. You need the numbers to get through the weekend. Also, don't forget that most tournaments are two days, so you are looking at 4 games Saturday, and 3 or 4 on Sunday.

Lot's of phun, and I wouldn't have it any other way :D
