Parity - Week 6 Highlights

Y'all are a bunch of try hards that failed this week!

The night isn't even over and I saw:

Melissa Berry make a great cut deep, but was in the end zone on the first throw. For some reason she then tried to throw the frisbee to the other team. Like, regular every day bail throw directly at a defender. "Oh wait, you're not on my team!" were the first words out of her mouth.

Al Colantonio tried to be the ageless Justine Price, and attempted to throw around a light. He failed. Spectacularly.

The first game of the night tried to have everyone run into each other, but failed. Thank heavens for that.

tried to complete a pass, and mostly failed! Adam McDonald also tried this, and failed even more spectacularly than I did!

This week, the early highlights are that we are all terrible! I <3 all of you for this.

i "aim" to set the failure bar high or is it low? in any case make it dificult to reach so you all feel better about yourselves because im nice like that.

PS. MacDonald I have the all important A :)

"Y'all" should be "We all" considering a certain coordinator wound up for a full field huck and smoked the net after a whopping 5 yards of flight ;)

Dave tried and succeeded at hand blocking me there actually.

Dude getting handblocked is my thing. Get your own failure. Like hucking into nets without interference.

That is people get closer and closer to handblocking my throws until they finally do.

Last night for example I broke the force with the first pass, often for hucks, repeatedly, until Sasfchow skimmed one (still complete), then got a bigger piece of the next one (still complete, may actually have been helped by the contact) and finally got a big chunk of a breakforce flick huck, not a complete block but caused it to blade and fall incomplete 30 yards downfield.  You'd think as my markers learn my tricks, I could learn new ones too.....

A little late but before last week's game I sent my team the following link, not to entice them to try this ridiculous double move on a berekely, but more to illustrate the required distance to fake forward before coming back.

As luck would have it, in last week's game through some miracle I got open up the line against Amos after faking towards the backfield.  In no way did this resemble the impressive quickness and agility illustrated in this video, just to be clear.  The sideline responded with much derision and references to common breakfast bread product preparation techniques towards his defensive efforts, only to have my handler respond a little too slowly and throw just a bit too late to a previously wide open version of myself - leading to Amos's ridiculous quickness enabling his recovery, catching the d, planting and hucking the other way to Sina for a point.  Quite a turn of events.

And a fine cut it was! I totally got caught being greedy and not watching Mehmet be all shifty (I was admittedly surprised by this shiftiness). But now I'm starting to think I should let that happen more often as that turned out quite well in my favour ;)

Adam MacDonald tried to out sky that old guy (I think he had a walker) and failed. That old guy is way cute, great hair.

I got distracted by his cuteness and hair

The following people are still perfect:

Krys Kudakiewicz

Christopher Castonguay

Stephen Close

Jim Robinson

Rob Tyson

Keep up the perfection boys. The rest of us should hang our heads in shame (especailly Kindha)

I feel shame.

Back to back games with 8 goals. I have to come home and live with this. Up your game people.

Maybe you need to up your game so your stats are better than his? ;)

It's true. I am trying!

People do. He only catches hammers and #throwsofthefuture.

... like throwing it to the netting or lampost and teleporting to the endzone?  That #throwsofthefuture?

I was really enjoying being the league leader in goals scored until he had to go score 8 goals last night and rain on my parade! Help me out, people!

Too bad there is no stat category for unexpected massive SKYLES

Maybe you should find the endzone.

Does anyone on here have a job? I am working on being the cheapest woman in this league. (on the field)

This week I called myself the female Alex Bush. #truestory
