But I can't be seen to be ducking my perceived responsibilities.

Was 2/4 predicting last week. Don't know if that's over or under the usual average, but it was certainly better than whoever I didn't pick against!

Semi-final matchup predictions, based solely on the team's performance in a particular timeslot:

(owen's) Basket of Deplorables (3-0-0) v. SOS - Man Overboard (0-1-1): Seems obvious, and goes with my (a) intuition and (b) desire to annoy Sina. SOS did play a really good game last week, though. #BASKET

F Bombs (1-1-0) v. Kaboom (2-1-0): If Sandra shows up at game time it's seemingly a no-brainer, but if Keates is a better Keates than Higgins it could get interesting. F Bombs are better in every other timeslot. #KABOOM

Like a Boss (0-2-0) v. Mike and the Milburys (1-1-0): Both teams will be eager to do better than last week, but is the prospect of fivals enough to motivate Mike Lee to run on both legs? The numbers, however, don't care. #MILBURYS

Katy Parity (1-2-0) v. Hindsight Hooligans (2-0-0): The late late game saw Katy get her only win of the season, while the Hooligans are perfect in that particular timeslot. A battle of throwaways. #HOOLIGANS

(These can't be worse than any other predictions.)

No podcast?!? I was sorta hoping for a little effing levity this morning.

Hopefully you can find some guests to phone it in this week in order to get something on the air soon.
