Parity Podcast #202

Epidosde 202.

Keates and I talk about rival podcasts, salary structure changes, and the PLFL. We also recap our predictions from week 1, make some for week 2, and would have broken news had production schedules been a little tighter (life is busy).

Content-wise: there's lots - and I got tired of editing so it's a little loose in spots.

Technically: the cracky audio sneaks in late again, though not as bad, and I think might be a function of the amount of editing I'm doing w/ Audacity. Perhaps I need to make a go of using another DAW.

Regardless, we hope you enjoy it and look forward to see you all on Monday night.

That was an acceptable amount of boat jokes. I still have room for more though.

So can we attribute the tie game to Geofford's dislike of Amos's shenanigans?  Did Amos actual win by causing both Keates and Geofford to both be, in their own words, losers.

I'm no mathemagician, but I'm pretty sure Amos's margin of victory  was large enough that Geofford could have allowed one fewer goal. That way, he would have been a winner on TWO fronts.

THREE fronts.  He would have won the game on the field as well. Perhaps the most important front?

(Just to be clear the three fronts I am considering are field, pick-em, and making Amos win. Perhaps I am not clear on what the most important front is.)

I have nothing to do with the Amos situation. For my Parity League Fantasy Leage (PLFL) matchup I was against Geofford. I am on his roster. I didn't give myself a WOW which would have been enough for him to win.

I'm a loser because I lost and underperformed for the week, but a winner because suck it, Geofford.

Also, in order of importance:

1. foil Amos' plan (make him win instead of lose);

2. hilarity (PLFL shenanigans);

3. win the game (real frisbee).

Feedback for Geofford: Stop crying about your technical crap. Nobody cares or notices when it's crap unless it's Bush calling in on his potato. You could take that extra time to slag a new guy (<--- make this a new segment).

Feedback for PLFL participants: I hate you all.
