Bring Your Disc to Work - September 24th

If you like Ultimate and own a disc, then bring your disc to work on Thursday, September 24th, 2015 as part of our National Bring Your Disc to Work Day initiative to promote Ultimate in Canada.

Background Info
There are over 34,000 Ultimate players that participate in leagues operated by grassroots partners of Ultimate Canada throughout our great country, with tens of thousands more who play in intramural leagues, school leagues and with sport and social clubs. The sport has grown by leaps and bounds over the past two decades! As the community grows it is hard to know everyone in your community who plays Ultimate.

Photo Contest

As part of "Bring Your Disc to Work Day," Ultimate Canada is hosting a photo contest where the best entries will receive a prize! We are spicy things up this year with 3 categories:

• Best photo in a Workplace
• Best photo at School
• Best photo in your Community

The rules are pretty simple, take a photo on Bring Your Disc to Work Day that includes a disc, and get the appropriate permission of those in the photo, and send it in to: christiane@canadianultimate.com by October 8th, 2015. Please indicate which category you want to be entered in. Each photo can only enter 1 category, but each photographer can enter different photos for each category! Voting will take place on Ultimate Canada Facebook page. Prizes will be provided by Ultimate Canada's sponsors, VC Ultimate and Discraft. The top three finishers in each category will receive discs prizes, while the top winner per category will receive the grand prize: a personalized disc with your winning picture!
