While stats keeping for the second game (Amos vs. Proulx), Seb and I were unable to find the "gasp" button, nor the "aghast" button.
We will let the organizers know about this blatant gap on the app.
With four salaries already in the +$700 000 range, Amos' team established a comfortable lead and then, one can only assume, decided to try out "clog" as their fall back offense in order to claim "parity, right?" so they can stay together. A brilliant come-back by the aptly named underdogs, S.O.S. to tie the game.

Brilliant as it was, the current salary system rewarded his team with the 2nd highest team salary gain some tying for the 4th highest point total of the night. SOS achieved the same amount of points but overall team salary was 200k less. Justice achieved? Parity achieved? Coordinators are cooking the books?

The rumours aren't true
There was no intentional salary tanking last night from us. Players got tired, were tired to begin with, started to force things, and generally just weren't organized and played loose after the first half.
But yes, my roster absences cost me far more in salary. It's a reality of parity that you have to pay for rostered players who don't play any given week. And it's honestly too much work to fix as much as many of us know it's a kink in the system. Such is life at the beginning of the parity season when averages aren't averages. We all have to live it. It'll get better as the season progresses.
I could fix my salary woes if I traded all my players away to Owen's team... for Owen. Like actually all my players because he's worth about 5 of them. Owen "GM GM" Lumley showing us that maybe we shouldn't give him nicknames like "GM GM" or he'll show up and -try- :D
edit: definitely lost all English skills when I first posted this...

I currently lead the league
I currently lead the league in ThrewDrop and it's not even close. My salary is so low, I'm worth 20% less than Stanley Kent. These are some dark days for myself and the rest of the Kati Parity bunch. Of course, the only thing keeping me going is the fact that my throwaways last night didn't even put me into the "top" 10 for week 2. I'm obviously too hard on myself. If only I could be more like Al who seems to have the same short-term memory loss as the character in the movie Memento. Unless he has a tattoo of a turnover somewhere on his body, he has no memory of it ever happening ;-)

I've been making the same on
I've been making the same on-field mistakes since before Memento came out. Christopher Nolan wrote it about me, changing some names and subject matter around for entertainment value.
The frisbee version of Primer, where I huck to myself in the endzone, is better though.
