Highlights this Week

The first game had a strong defence:unforced errors ratio. It was a well played game. Lance7 (40m breaks humming 30 cm off the ground) and Justine8 (bendy blades a la 4x4) threw a tonne of points. Marie-Ange scored 4. BrianK threw 4 in his first week with Wowsers. But the player of the game was Hope with 4 goals, 2 assists, and 2 Ds. One of the Ds was a flyby on a long wrap around break, which looked like a great piece of offence until she slapped it out of the air. One of her assists was an O/I lefty flick around Hadrian that he leaped for- arm outstretched, hair swishing to no avail- almost like a poster. 

The play of the night (up until around 840 anyway) was Edwin skying Jim in the endzone. EDWIN SKYING JIM IN THE ENDZONE- there are not enough fonts and emoticons to describe it. Great grab by Edwin. He went with the casual, 'it's not my first rodeo', no big deal spike as Jim tried to pick himself up from the ground. "Credit" where "credit" is due- without BrianP's dubious throw choice, this would not have happened.

I don't know what happened after that as I was in bed by 9.
