Parity - Week 10 Highlights

I'll have to browse the stats and think about some noteable sideline moments and update this post later. For the moment:

Best Chirps:

1. Jeff Hunt, to me. "Can you grow your beard back? The bottom of your face looks hideous."

2. Stan said "I need to stop making bad decisions." Geofford said, "Why start now?"

And the highest salary gain of the week by a lot! Kudos!

...while marked by Owen, almost exclusively. I think Sul may have thought this was a Shepherds tryout.

I swear Sully could read me like a book, when I cut.

Unfortunately the rythmic swishy-swish of Sully's pants is too hypnotizing and rendered me useless.  If only we could bring back the bygone days of the yellow swishy pants, as they were at least a visual stimulant.

Calling Andrea Proulx: please  bring those yellow vinyl party pants from Goosebowl to frisbee this upcoming Monday, so I can woo Owen.

PARITY DRESS-UP DAY?? (Yes, I'm begging for yet another opportunity to wear my onesie)

Mark Donahue's poor life choice of not wearing his arm sleeve amounted to him not catching a callahan.

Tryhardahue needs to have his tryhardasleeve on at all times.

Kindha skied me in the endzone, with Owen nearby providing backup.

Not only did she sky you of my poor choice of a throw, you later thought it would get you brownie points if you threw it to her wide open midfield 2 min later...#throwawaysforeveryone!

Al and I are forming a Boy Band with the rest of the gentlemen from Netflix Chill so Kindha and Justine can stare at us glassy eyed and buy our t-shirts (which works out since we owned theirs last night).

...swoon......

Chowmania last night! This is chow we do it, karma's got nothing on the dreamy play of Luke Parity last night.

How about a 12 foot high blade for a 2 yard gain?  And the point.  Luckily it was to Ashlin otherwise any other receiver would've been sliced in half.

Precision strike from Douggie.  It had no business being thrown, but I can see why it was caught for the point.  Nearly impossible to defend against that blade, angle of attack was near-vertical.

My favourite play would have to be when Keates unknowingly skied his own teammate in the end zone for the point. Pretty phenomenal catch, I'd have to say.

Borrowed.

Ass

I didn't realize you were there, and didn't recognize the "mine" call until after the play. Sorry, bud. You still got more dollars than me.

Don't worry. I say it in jest.

My favourite point of the night was my gorgeous (if I do say so myself) cross-field, break mark flick to drop into the back corner of the endzone for Brian Kells OR Jen Cluthe, both wide open. They politely stepped back to allow the other to catch the glory and rake in the cash. The disc dropped quietly between them. Instead of "pew pew pew", my new sound bite may the cash cannon, as I blow mad stacks.

Kells actually called me off the catch...

Which of you said "sorry" first?

i did.. but then it bounced off your head and right through my hands :(

Haha. I think that was in your teenage dreams. I remember you dropping it!
